The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Outrageously naughty film spoof, spiced with sex, and rock music, in regards to a un-crooked couple, Janet and Brad Sarandon, and Bostwick are stranded in an old gloomy home full of weirdoes from Transylvania Music and words by O’Brien; melodies contain “Time Warp, and “Crazy and Wild Thing’. Reel Paradise: Famed film exhibitor John Pierson and spouse-companion Janet invest a year on Fiji’s remote Taveuni showing free films to the locals, from classics to The Jerk: The idea is to see how these people react to seeing this totally different world that we live in.(111 minutes, 2005)
The Replacements: Stupid, run of the mill comedy about a lot of has-beens, eccentrics, and losers who are enlisted by coach Hackman as substitute players in the wake of a pro-football strike. If you seriously desire to see Hackman play a coach, watch the basketball drama Hoosiers. Cast includes Keanu Reeves, Gene Hackman, Brooke Langton, Orlando Jones, Jon Favreau, Jack Warden, Faizon Love, and Brett Cullen. (118 minutes, 2000)
Trackdown: Montana rancher (Jim Mitchum) comes to L.A. looking for his sister, who has fallen into a seamy life in the streets. Not much depth however lots of action. Cast includes Jim Mitchum, Karen Larnm, Anne Archer, Erik Estrada, Cathy Lee Crosby, and Vince Cannon. (98 minutes, 1976)
Cujo: Completely terrifying adaptation of Stephen King thriller in regards to a female and her child terrorized by a rabid St. Bernard. Develops gradually and undoubtedly to horrifying (although not gory) for kids. Cast includes Dee Wallace, Daniel Hugh-Kelly, Christopher Rock, and Factories Watson. (91 minutes, 1983)
Red Tomahawk: Commander Keel saves the town from the Sioux Indians in this Western film with lots of likable actors in the cast. Cast includes Howard Keel, Joan Caulfield, Broderick Crawford, Scott Brady, Wendell Corey, Richard Arlen, and Donald Barry. (82 minutes, 1967)
From the earth to The Moon: Jules Verne’s fiction doesn’t hover well in contrived sci-fi of early rocket flight to the moon. The cast looks mostly agitated. Cast includes Joseph Cotten, George Sanders, Debra Paget, Don Dubbins, Patric Knowles, and Henry Daniel. (100 minutes, 1958)
