Protocal: In Protocal Goldie Hawn becomes an inadvertent heroine (and ovemight star) who’s satisfied with her do nothing government job. She eventually is used as a pawn for handling a Middle Eastern potentate. I Want Someone to Eat Cheese with: Garlin makes an unassumingly involving impact as an overweight, unlucky, in love joker that imagines he could be the one for the lead role in a suggested redo of Marty. Silverman is a standout as an insane/seductive ice cream parlor waitress. Cast includes Jeff Garlin, Sarah Silverman, Bonnie Seek, Amy Sedaris, David Pasquesi, Gina Gershon, and Elle Fanning. The Alannist: Eccentric and choppy black comedy in reference to a novice door to door security alarm sales man (Arquette) who finds that his manager and self-fashioned mentor (Tucci) is a crook. Then the youthful gentleman falls in love with his first client (Capshaw). Cast includes David Arquette, Stanley Tucci, Kate Capshaw, Mary McCormack, Ryan Reynolds, and Tricia Vessey. Illicit: Cast includes Barbara Stanwyck, James Rennie, Ricardo Cortez, Joan Blondell, and Charles Butterworth. Self sufficient-minded Stanwyck cherishes Rennie, although doesn’t desire matrimony to tarnish her cheerfulness. This is a boring film with way too much talking. Cast includes Marcello Mastroianni, Claudia Cardinale, Anouk Aimee, Sandra Milo, Barbara Steele, Rossella Falk, Madeleine LeBeau, Caterina Boratto, Edra Gale, and Mark Herron. T (81 minutes, 1931)
The Fourth Procedure: Pretty excellent thriller adjusted by Frederick Forsyth from his most popular novel. Caine plays a British agent who’s designated to foil a Russian plot that could obliterate relationships between the U.S. and England by seting off an atomic bomb near an American air base in the U.K. Brosnan does well as a Russian representative. Cast includes Michael Caine, Pierce Bronson, Joanna Cassidy, Ned Beatty, Betsy Brantley, Peter Cartwright, David Conville, Matt Frewer, Ray McAnally, and Ian Richardson. (119 minutes, 1987)
The Buddy System: Desolate baby tries to play matchmaker between his lone mommy and a grown-up buddy, could-be novelist and tool creator Dreyfuss, however there are spiritual problems. Pleasantly played although excessively recognizable (and overlong) romantic comedy. Cast includes Richard Dreyfuss, Susan Sarandon, Nancy Allen, Jean Stapleton, Will Wheaton, Edward Fall, and Keene Curtis. (110 minutes, 1984)
Hoppity Goes to Town: Delightful excited characteristic in regards to occupants of worm-ville and their assorted complications living in a human world, and bullied by villainous C. Bagley Beetle. Excellent-looking however uncompelling tale. (77 minutes, 1941)
The Little Thief: So-so personality picture of the title lass, a disassociated, amoral adolescent floating through life in postwar France. If she comes off as a girl Antoine Doinel, it’s since the original tale was cowritten by Francois Truffuut, who was allegedly preparing to film this at the time of his demise. Cast includes Charlotte Gainsbourg, Didier Bezace, Simon de la Brosse, Nathalie Cardone, and Raoul Billerey. (104 minutes, 1989)
