I want to get a Wii, and am wondering what online games I can play with it. My friend has one and just got “Brawl” for it, and he said we could play eachother if I got one.
So what kind of online things does the Wii offer?

I can’t list what online games the Wii has, but you should DEFINITELY look into the game your friend was telling you about…which is called “Super Smash Bros. Melee”. Its an awesome game packed with PLENTY of things for you to do. It can go online and let you play with friends or just random people, its got somewhat of a lengthy single player mode (Which also allows you to play with other people in your house), plenty of bonus game types that DON’T suck and are plenty of fun. Lots of easter eggs, secrets, unlockables etc. You can even take snap shots (pics) and record short game play footage and then view them later! Its awesome man, get it if you can and you like fighting games.
