Mine is the salad spinner – because it gets all the water off your lettuce so you don’t end up with a puddle on your plate.

I like my flour sifter; it is easier than trying to shake the flour through a mesh wire strainer. Plus it was my grandma’s. =)
I also like my pastry cutter……
Mine is a “kid cheater” (a rubber spatula) My grandma used to call her rubber spatula a kid cheater because it would clean the bowl so well that there was nothing left on the sides of the bowl for the kids to lick off. We would also get to lick the beaters on the mixer too. But that was in the good ol days before we found out it was bad to do that. I still call my rubber spatula a kid cheater just because it brings back the great memory of my grandma baking in the kitchen.
mortar and pestle for grinding grains like corn
I will never stop using my coffee grinder. It is made from black walnut and it is kind of fun too crank the handle and see the ground coffee come out of the side.
Mine is a wooden lemon reamer. It seems to get more juice out than any modern equivalent plus I love anything wooden with no mechanical parts that will last forever.
I like my egg slicer for hard cooked eggs.
