Traction motors are preferred by vehicles because they accomplish both tasks. Electric motors can be used as generators and vice versa. However, at times it\’s not practical to do so. Electric motors are found in a number of usage. They include disk drivers, household appliances, blowers and pumps, power tools, machine tools, and industrial fans and are so, ubiquitous.

An electrical motor could be powered by AC from an electrical distribution grid that is centralised or by DC. Direct current refers to a battery powered device that is moveable or a motor vehicle. Electric wristwatches are places where the smallest motors are found. Motors which are medium-sized are useful for mechanical power and are convenient for industrial usage because of their characteristics and dimensions that are highly identical. Big electric motors are mainly used as the driving force for big ships and as pipeline compressors. There are 3 parts that determine the classification of electric motors, namely, the supply of electric power, the internal structure and the purpose. There are many varieties of electric motors.

They include: AC motor: An Alternating Current motor is a type of electric motor which performs by alternating current. Synchronous motors and induction motors are kind of Alternating current motors.

Direct current motor: A DC motor is a type of electric motor that performs on DC electricity. Brushed DC electric motors and Brushless Direct Current motors are types of Direct Current motors.

Electrostatic motor: An electrostatic motor is a type of electric motor that is based on the magnetism of electric charge. In other words, it depends on the attraction and repulsion of electric charge.

Servo motor: A servo motor is a kind of electric motor by which a servo is operated. It is generally utilised in robotics.

Internal fan-cooled electric motor: As the name suggests, an internal fan-cooled electric motor is a type of electric motor that\’s cooled by itself with the assistance of a fan. It\’s mainly used for motors that have a high energy density.

A Malaysia gear motor is that part of a machine that assists in the rotation process. It has cut teeth, also recognized as cogs, which interconnect with another parallel part to transmit torque.

When multiple gears work in together, it is referred to as transmission. This process also produces a mechanical benefits with the assistance of gear ratios, and is so, regarded as car motors.
