By using energy efficient or manual kitchen gadgets you would use less electricity. There would be less of a need for coal burning plants that produce electricity and by using less electricity you use less coal. Less coal burning less CO2 emissions. Now multiply all the electric kitchen gadgets in your house by 100+ million household in North America alone. Thats al ot of coal burning pants.
