I just download this dvi format on my external hard drive. I connected it to my 360 and it requires an update. so I need some help to find the right update and if possible some walkthrough PleaZ!

Are you trying to use the media extender to play the movie? If so there are no codecs that will work. But, If you go to you videos folder then select source of external device and select the video it should play. I have digital copies on my PC that won’t play via media center but if I transfer to a thumb driver and plug into my 360 follow the steps above it works great. And there is no lag related to the wireless connection.
