An iPad Tablet is the latest invention by The Apple Computer Company. It is called the iPad and literally looks like a small tablet (biblical style). The iPad is about the size of a book held open in your hands, which is actually it’s primary use. Many people use it like its competitor’s product, the Amazon Kindle. IPads have a touch screen and are very much like a large iPhone.

The iPad will be available to buy by the end of March, 2010. Orders have started since the product was officially released and it has sold thousands in the first month. This is because its first major appearance anywhere in public was when it was used on stage at the Grammy Awards. The host read the winner from it.

From the back you might think it was a really small laptop and from the front you may think it was a really huge iPhone. It is just a very flat computer system that does not stand up. It must be held. It also does not have a mouse or keyboard that come with it, though they can be added. It is more used as a music player, book downloader, and sound recorder with the ability to make phone calls and connect to the web.

This miracle of technology is only a pound and a half, so you can take it with you anywhere. It has a decent amount of memory and battery life. Despite this (and despite the touch screen) it looks very simple. There is one USB connector. The only other external device is a single headphone jack. Speakers and microphone are built in but cannot be seen. It looks extremely stream lined and polished.

This product had been in the works for seventeen years before it was finally released in January 2010. Its long production ensured firstly that all the major kinks and problems could be worked out. It secondly made the hype over the product far more than it would have been over any other Apple product.

This is even including the price which many view as high. The iPad starts at five hundred dollars without any keyboard or mouse. Those need to be bought on their own. Sales have not slowed, but some are surprised by the product’s limitations. It cannot operate more than one program at a time nor are there video recording options. Many believe these problems will be soon corrected and upgraded.

Some have speculated that a lawsuit over the name will follow. Lawyers from both sides have been contacted and have both discussed publicly the fact that they are unsure if a lawsuit will even happen. The right to the name is caught up in much technical and legal confusion and the original owner may not wish to press charges, especially considering that no verdict could be sorted out before the iPad goes live to stores.

The iPad Tablet is a petite, flat personal computer that is in tablet form. We have got the inside scoop on top notch Tablet PC Reviews .
