I’m moving into a new apartment in August and I bought a few sweet dishes that are white with a border of bright red, blue and yellow flowers. I like the whole trend with red for the kitchen, so I want to do the habe.I suck at decorating, and I am on a budget (I am a PhD student). I love all the red kitchen utensils / devices (such as spatulas, spoons, slotted, etc), but the spending between $ 4 – $ 10 on each utensil add up quickly würden. Also what set you think perhaps always a sweet red canister on the counter to basic utensils instead of keeping black? So I have the cheap $ 1 – $ 3 could get those, but still kind are red as the Zentrum.Bisher I have: white table cloth w / red placemats, red paper towel holder and spoon rest, red, silver, a set of kitchen knives red handle, and the above-mentioned Gerichte.Kann you give me some other good ideas? Like I said nothing of pricy, I’m on a budget. I suck at these things, so I appreciate imput:) Also, if you have any suggestions for things that are links to these products would be so helpful! DankAuch is as red and blue in the kitchen, I should try, touches of these colors to use, and if so, how?

so far sounds cute:]
maybe add lots of colorful flowers to fit with the theme.
look at things you normally wouldnt and it might just tie the whole room together!
good luck.
I think this sounds like a great idea!
Also, using a red canister with black utensils will probably look much better than red on red. Dollar tree has spatulas in fun colors. I can’t remember what color choices there were, but I got a pink set! So may you can find a dark blue to match your plate trim.
I wouldn’t use TOO much blue and yellow or it will take away from your bold red decor. Maybe put a few blue and yellow candles around in red holders and find a decorative towel to hang on the stove or from the drawer handle that has all three colors. Also, look for a rug that is mostly red but has the other two colors as well.
A kitchen should, however, be a sunny inviting room. Leave the mod decor for your bedroom or living room. You might actually want to try using all three colors together to give it a nice summery flowery feel.
A lot of summery french paintings have those colors in them.
If you have enough wall space for an art print, try something like this:

the red canister with black utensils sounds great. after that i wouldn’t buy anything else with red. red should be your accent to the kitchen anymore red would quickly overwhelm your eyes… what you have already sounds extremely cute.
The Dollar Store is starting to get red utensils now so that’s cheap enough. I don’t like a lot of stuff on my countertops so I put my utensils in drawers; I even have my canisters in cabinets. I planned my kitchen so I have electrical outlets in upper cabinets; I use these for chargers for my electric can opener and electric wine opener, and have my stand mixer inside a cabinet, as well as our toaster on a pull-out shelf, already plugged in. The less junk you have on your countertops, the neater your kitchen looks, the easier it is to clean, and the calmer it looks.
It sounds like you need art work or something on the walls.
