I use http://www.ad-aware.com. Free to download and use. It scans my computer when I want it to (about once a day); it locates spy ware and removes it.
Spy ware terminator is the best free one i have seen next to Avast. No one ever seems to say anything about spy ware terminator. It works great and it’s free. Down load Spy ware terminator and Super Anti Spy ware and you should be good to go. There is a free 30 day trial of Kaspersky Anti virus that you can download. I am using it right now and it is great. It gets them all Spy ware Ad ware Key loggers Trojans’ Mal ware’ Ad’ ware. It does it all. AVG’ I don’t know why everyone keeps pushing it. I have used it and it’s not that good. It doesn’t take anything off your machine. All it does is lock up the bad stuff in a vault. It’s still there. If you delete the program all that junk is turned loose back on your hard drive. You want a program that deletes it completely not just lock it up. The ones i mention will REMOVE them. Not just lock them up.
