I love DSLR so much, but because of its size make me think twice before owning it. So, did you guys know any compact digital camera out there that have same or better functions as DSLR?

Well yes and no. Most P&S cameras that have these capabilities are the size of and just as heavy as an SLR. I have an older model Fuji, the 9000. It does everything my Canon SLR does except manual focus. It claims to be manual but it’s really not. All the other functions are SLR like.
Fuji makes a nice line of such cameras. Virtually no compact cameras will work this way, oh yes some to an extent but not full function. To get full control over all functions like an SLR it must be an
SLR.

micro thirds cameras? maybe..
they have interchangeable lenses, and provide many of the same features, at a smaller form factor.
my only issue is if I am paying for something that costs as much as a dslr, might as well get one.

The “e420″ is the smallest DSLR out on the market today. Olympus has always been know for quality and the ability to “reduce” cameras in size to make them very desirable.

I doubt it. Try the smaller micro four-thirds models. The viewfinder may be out but I’m not sure if the amount of control is the same. Lenses will still be interchangeable for sure. As far as compact is concerned, that is as small as you can get.
