@davesfarmfan1 thats more of a yes and no question, no it cant take any photos, but, you can do what I do, on the camras software, you can use snap shot, and save it, so you can still have photos, but you have to use flipshare do get the snapshot

ita a video camera. made for videos. if it took pictures too it would have more options for adjusting picture options but its made to be simple and only do one thing.

I Got One Of These For Christmas!!! The Video Quality Is Great, The Audio Quality Is Amazing And It Is Very Simple To Use, But It Didn’t Even Last 1 Month!!! It Broke Today For No Reason!!! I Was About To Make A Video And It Wouldn’t Turn On!!! I Changed The Batteries 3x And Pressed The Reset Button A Few Times!!!

@SnowboarderBoy15 yeah it can store as many as you want as long as it is under the time. which is never a problem because you can put the clips on your computer and then delete them off the flip
Can the flip store multiple videos on it?
My cousin got a Flip Ultra for his birthday last month, sadly when we put batteries in it didn’t turn on… we tried multiple batteries
Luckily my UltraHD works great, except for the charging problem everyone has.

Good video but this camera is horrible. There are much better cameras that are far less expensive.

I have a harddrive camcorder from around 2004 and it has auto adjust on the settings like the flip does, and its easy to put videos on the computer, plug in the charger and plug in the cable…or infact, just leave it in the computer and plug the other end into the camcorder…all the videos are recorded in a mpg format…i’ve never had any of the problems the flipcam “fixes” while using my HDD camera for the past 7 years.
