Atomizers often clog with juice that has thickened and restricts the flow of air and the production of vapor. When this occurs, the atomizer needs to be cleaned or replaced. Cartridge filters wear out over time, due to constantly holding and releasing juice. The battery used to activate the atomizer also wears out over time.
