Question by Jessica: Is a Nikon D60 a good first dslr camera for a 13 year old?
I’m 13 years old and have had like 4 cameras already but none a dslr. I’m into photography and ok at it and I want my first dslr camera. Do you recommend the Nikon D60? I can work my way around it don’t worry about that, I just don’t know if that cameras good or not for the price (about 600$)

It is an excellent camera and will keep you busy learning how to use all if its features.

Until then, place the camera in the program mode and let the camera make the exposures for you.

I want an inexpensive camera (around or less than 500$ if possible) that can has all the basic functions of a dslr and has HD video recording. I was thinking of the Nikon D40 but I want guidance from a professional. Thanks

While the D40 is an excellent choice for any photographer, beginning or otherwise, it does not have a video feature

All the dSLR cameras with a video feature cost in excess of 0. The good ones that are attempting to rival real video cameras cost closer to from ,000 to ,000

Maybe you need to decide if you want a video camera or still camera before you spend any money

The fact that Max shot using flash at shutter speeds of 1/1000th second or faster, may not mean much to you, but most cameras highest flash sync is 1/250th second or slower

I have been using compact cameras for a couple years and I want to step it up a notch. What would be a good DSLR camera to look into for nature photography? I need something that snaps fast. Someone mentioned something along the canon rebel line but I don’t know. Also, should I consider a camera with Full Frame capabilities or is that just a little overboard? Thanks!

Hi, I am looking for a digital camera that is under 0 and I’d like for it to be something that makes good quality videos with good sound for Youtube. And I want to take pictures on it too and I want one with clear nice pictures too. I also want it to have a long battery life. Any reccomendations? What else should I look for about the digital camera? Thank you for your help!

We are looking to purchase a digital camera to use in taking photographs of wildlife on our Alaskan vacation this summer. We currently have point and shoot digital cameras but are thinking we should probably get a digital SLR with a telephoto lens. Ease of use would be helpful as we would be novices with this type of camera. Cost is not really an issue as we are looking at this as a once in a lifetime trip and want to make sure we have photos to preserve it. There is no specialty camera store anywhere near where we live so any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Get a D300

70-300mm lens as well.
